Terms of use

Effective October 1, 2026.

Personal use

Home Assistant Nest is an integration maintained for the operator’s own household. This website provides information about that integration and does not offer public access or a paid service.

Authorized operation

The integration is intended to be used only with devices and accounts the operator is authorized to access. The operator is responsible for the thermostat commands, automations, account access, and system settings they configure.

Availability

Operation depends on Home Assistant, Google services, network connectivity, and the thermostat. Updates or service interruptions may affect availability. Keep access to the thermostat’s ordinary controls and do not rely on this integration as a safety-critical system.

Third-party services

Google and Home Assistant are separate products governed by their applicable terms and licenses. This personal integration is not affiliated with or endorsed by those organizations.

Privacy and contact

See the privacy policy for how authorized information is used. For questions, use the support email displayed on the Google authorization screen.
